GameChangers – Women in the Game Industry
GameChangers aims to increase diversity in the game industry, with an emphasis on getting more girls and women interested and involved in the industry.
As part of the project, we visit high schools and vocational institutions and tell them about different study options that will help them to get to the game industry. We will also run a free coaching program for people who are interested in the industry. This coaching program will be held twice during the project. At the end of each coaching program, we will arrange an online event where the coaching program participants have an opportunity to present their game demos to an international audience.
Screenshot days are informal and fun gaming events held at local high schools and vocational institutes. Besides playing games and having fun, the events promote study opportunities for game industry and introduce female role models from the game industry to encourage more girls to consider the field as a viable option for them. If you want us to come to your school or institute, don’t hesitate to contact us.
